This is the story of a little girl from Ahmedpur, a small town filled with dreams and aspirations. At the tender age of five, she unknowingly took her first step toward a lifelong passion. One day, while her aunt was sewing, she picked up a measuring tape, placed it on her aunt’s back, and confidently said, “I am checking you, take a deep breath, Aunty.” Her innocent yet determined act brought tears of laughter to the family. Seeing this, her aunt exclaimed with excitement, “Beta, you will become a doctor when you grow up.”
Years later, that little girl evolved into Dr. Suvarna Birajdar Dahitankar—an accomplished laparoscopic surgeon, IVF consultant, and highly respected obstetrician and gynecologist, with a profound dedication to women’s health.
Academic Excellence and Medical Training
Dr. Suvarna’s journey of perseverance and excellence began at Yashwant Vidyalaya, Ahmedpur, where she shone academically, securing merit ranks in multiple prestigious scholarships, including MTS, NTS, and the Navodaya Examination. Her dedication to education was evident as she consistently topped in all subjects throughout her schooling.
With an unwavering passion for medicine, she secured a high merit rank in her 12th standard and CET exams, earning admission to Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College, Solapur. She successfully completed her MBBS with distinction. Further pursuing her dream, she gained admission to Government Medical College, Aurangabad, where she completed her MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology with excellence, mastering both routine and high-risk cases under the guidance of esteemed mentors.
Her thirst for knowledge led her to further specialization, completing a fellowship in infertility in Kerala and advanced endoscopic training in Mumbai. This rigorous training refined her skills, preparing her to serve with expertise and compassion.
Professional Journey and Contributions
Dr. Suvarna began her career as an Assistant Professor at Government Medical College, Latur, and Ambajogai, where she served for two years, training future medical professionals. Over the last 12 years, she has been practicing as a fertility specialist, endoscopic surgeon, obstetrician, and gynecologist. For the past eight years, she has dedicated herself to serving the people of Latur.
Throughout her career, she has performed thousands of endoscopic surgeries and IVF procedures, playing a vital role in transforming the lives of countless couples by guiding them from infertility to parenthood. She provides all modern and top-end facilities at her hospital, including advanced endoscopic surgeries and all types of IVF procedures such as ICSI, IMSI, TESE, PESE, and many more. She also handles complicated obstetric, gynecological, and fertility-enhancing surgeries with precision and care.

Dr. Suvarna and her husband, Dr. Padmasinha Birajdar, are a powerhouse couple dedicated to mother and child care—a comprehensive care package under one roof.
